3. Investments
According to preliminary data from the Bulgarian National Bank, cumulative investments from Czech Republic in Bulgaria at the end of Q4 2024 amounted to EUR 486.2 mm.
4. Others
- WORKING GROUP FOR ECONOMIC COOPERATION
Bilateral cooperation between Bulgaria and Czech Republic is actively developing at the institutional level. A Working Group for Economic Cooperation was established between the Ministry of Economy of Bulgaria and the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Czech Republic under the Memorandum of Cooperation signed on 9 November 2004.
The Ninth Session of the Working Group for Economic Cooperation between Bulgaria and Czech Republic was held on 28 April 2022 in Prague.
5. Legal Framework

- Agreement on Avoidance of Double Taxation and Prevention of Tax Evasion with respect to Taxes on Income and on Capital, signed in April 1998, effective from 28 December 1999.
- Memorandum of Cooperation between the Ministry of Economy of Bulgaria and the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Czech Republic, effective from 9 November 2004, establishing the Working Group.
- Memorandum of Cooperation for exchange of information, experience, and best practices in SME policy and strategy between the Bulgarian SME Promotion Agency (IANMSP) and the Confederation of Industry of the Czech Republic.
