- Investments
According to preliminary data from the Bulgarian National Bank, total Czech investments in Bulgaria amounted to EUR 467.9 million in 2025.
- Working Group on Economic Cooperation
Bilateral cooperation between Bulgaria and the Czech Republic is actively developing at the institutional level.
A Working Group on Economic Cooperation has been established between the Ministry of Economy of the Republic of Bulgaria and the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Czech Republic, pursuant to the Memorandum of Cooperation signed on 9 November 2004.
The 9th Session of the Working Group on Economic Cooperation between the Republic of Bulgaria and the Czech Republic was held on 28 April 2022 in Prague.
- Contractual and Legal Framework
- Agreement for the Avoidance of Double Taxation and the Prevention of Fiscal Evasion with respect to Taxes on Income and Capital, signed in April 1998, in force since 28 December 1999.
- Memorandum of Cooperation between the Ministry of Economy of the Republic of Bulgaria and the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Czech Republic, in force since 9 November 2004, establishing the Working Group on Economic Cooperation.
- Memorandum of Cooperation between the Bulgarian Small and Medium Enterprises Promotion Agency (BSMEPA) and the Confederation of Czech Industry, aimed at exchanging information, experience, and good practices in SME policy and strategy.
