The National Company Industrial Zones (NCIZ) has launched a project worth over BGN 2.8 million for the energy renovation of the administrative building and Halls 4 and 5 at the Vidin Industrial Park.
The planned activities for the project involve thermal insulation of external walls, replacement of window frames, thermal insulation of the roof, replacement of the lighting installation, installation of heat generation systems, construction of a photovoltaic installation, and other related tasks.
The project’s estimated budget is BGN 2,884,439.52, with BGN 1,293,497.78 provided as non-repayable financial support from the Recovery and Resilience Facility (RRF).
National Company Industrial Zones EAD has already signed a financing agreement with the Ministry of Regional Development and Public Works. The funds are provided by the European Union under the National Recovery and Resilience Plan. The project is scheduled for completion within 24 months.
Vidin Industrial Park is strategically located on the Danube River near the Romanian border, which provides access to European markets. The park has significant potential due to its transport links through river and rail networks, as well as opportunities for expanding logistics and manufacturing activities.
