A Chinese Company Will Build Up a Sunflower Oil Plant in Burgas

The Chinese Company Nantong Sumu Biological Technology will build up a plant for sunflower oil in the industrial zone in Burgas. The investment intention was declared by signing the Memorandum for Cooperation between the Chinese Bio-Technological Company and National Company Industrial Zones EAD (JSC), which operate the zone in Burgas. This happened during investment forum “Invest in Bulgaria. Expand in Europe” in Shanghai, organized by the Invest Bulgaria Agency. The event was visited by the Prime Minister Boyko Borisov, the Deputy Prime Minister for EU Funds and Economic Policies Tomislav Donchev, the Minister of Economy Bozhidar Lukarski and the Minister of Agriculture Desislava Taneva. Over 100 companies with interests in making investments in Bulgaria attended the forum on the Chinese part. A Bulgarian business delegation of representatives of 36 our companies which will search expansion of their contacts and new partnerships in China also took part in the event.
