The Ministry of Economy and Industry organizes Bulgarian national participation in the 87th edition of the Thessaloniki International Fair 2023. The event will take place in the period 9—17 September 2023 in Thessaloniki, Greece, in partnership with the Bulgarian Small and Medium Enterprises Promotion Agency (BSMEPA). The fair is the largest annual exhibition event, which is inextricably linked to the history of Greece’s economic and cultural growth. During the 87th edition of the Fair, high-level participation from the Greek government, state institutions and administration is foreseen.
The exhibition will bring together representatives of the Greek and Bulgarian governments, institutions, business organizations and companies from about twenty countries, including South Korea and the UAE.
The organizers foresee a wide range of economic areas to be represented at the 87th edition of the Thessaloniki International Fair, such as: circular economy, automotive and electromobility, gastronomy and healthy eating, digital technologies, furniture industry, etc.
Bulgaria will be a guest of honour at the event, which guarantees the Bulgarian participants an attractive positioning. A national exhibition area, leased from the Ministry of Economy and Industry, is being prepared. Bulgarian companies interested in participating as exhibitors in the national presentation of Bulgaria will be able to benefit from preferential prices for the construction of their stands.
Applications for participation in the exhibition shall be submitted to the Executive Agency for the Promotion of Small and Medium Enterprises /https://www.sme.government.bg/?p=61684/ and shall be accepted no later than 28 July 2023 (Friday) by sending a completed Application Form by one of the following methods:
— in person at the office of BSMEPA or by courier by 17:30 on 28 July 2023 to: 1000 Sofia, 2—4 Legge Street or
