Deputy Minister Vezieva awards BBLF prize for Responsible Business

Deputy Economy Minister Daniela Vezieva awarded a prize granted in Cause-related Marketing category at the Annual Responsible Business Awards organized by the Bulgarian Business Leaders Forum / BBLF / for the 12th consecutive year. Deputy Minister Vezieva distinguished Speak Out Against Domestic Violence campaign launched by Avon Cosmetics, Bulgaria, which took the first place in the competition. The Deputy Minister presented the award to EKO Bulgaria ranked the second in Cause-related Marketing category for the project “Together” and to Generali Bulgaria ranked as the third for Safe Home For Our Children campaign.

“Launched in 2003, the Responsible Business Awards promote the strong willingness of the business to invest in public causes,” Deputy Minister of Economy said. She pointed out the merits of the BBLF for the promotion of this open platform by awarding the prizes for sharing the best practices in the society’s favour. “Making good and establishing it as behavior distinguishes the man of values. We will work together in the future to mark even more growth in the efforts of business in the field of ​​responsibility to society, ” Vezieva said.

A total of 77 projects of 55 companies participated in the most prestigious competition in the field of corporate social responsibility in Bulgaria. The winners and finalists in other categories received their awards by the President of the Republic of Bulgaria Rosen Plevneliev, Deputy Mayor of Sofia Doncho Barbalov, Deputy Minister of Environment and Water Pavel Gudzherov, Deputy Minister of Labour and Social Policy Galab Donev, the UK Ambassador to Bulgaria Sarah Riley and the Chairman of BBLF Iravan Hira.
