I will enhance every ongoing initiative in the Ministry of Economy and Industry, my actions will be guided entirely by the legal provisions and I will not compromise with any breach of law. This was said by the Interim Minister of Economy and Industry Nikola Stojanov during the ceremony of taking office in the institution. He emphasised that he will work closely with business and unions, and key priorities for him are transparency and dialogue.
“Our primary task will be to prepare the economy for the harsh winter ahead,” said Nikola Stojanov. According to him, the best solutions will be sought in close cooperation with employer and trade union organisations. “Gas supplies, fuel prices, rising inflation. These are the big challenges that threaten every company and every family budget,” he added.
Nikola Stojanov emphasised the idea that every crisis is also an opportunity and that he will work in a way that will help, despite all the challenges, the Bulgarian economy to become more competitive and our country to grow more attractive for foreign investments.
The resigned Deputy Prime Minister, Kornelia Ninova, presented her achievements as a Minister of Economy and Industry and wished success to her successor. They both agreed that the control authorities must work as efficiently as possible in the conditions of increasing inflation to stop any speculation attempt.
