The development of a future cooperation for intermodal connectivity with Bulgaria was discussed by the Minister of Economy and Industry, Bogdan Bogdanov and the Executive Chairman of the BoD & Managing Director of ThPA S.A. – Port of Thessaloniki, Thanos Liagkos.
The two talked about deepening cooperation with the Port on the part of Bulgarian companies and institutions.
“Strengthening the strategic cooperation with ThPA S.A. – Port of Thessaloniki is important for the deepening of trade relations”, emphasized the Minister of Economy & Industry.
“ThPA S.A. is seeking to further enhance its cooperation with companies in Bulgaria,” Mr. Liagkos pointed out.
Greek logistics companies have the opportunity to invest in Industrial Zones in our country, Minister Bogdanov said. He proposed cooperation with the National Company Industrial Zones and emphasized the possibilities of handling containers in the Bulgarian zones.
The Economy Minister said that Greece is in the top 5 trade partners of our country. ‘We are at an important moment in bilateral relations’, he said. In his words, our accession to Schengen and the euro area will facilitate transport links and deepen business relations between the two countries.
Minister Bogdanov is visiting Thessaloniki, where the 87th Thessaloniki International Fair is being held. Participants in it are over 60 Bulgarian companies and organizations from different sectors.
The national participation in the 87th edition of the Thessaloniki International Fair is organized by the Ministry of Economy and Industry.
