Bulgaria’s OECD membership is a key priority, says new economy minister
Improving the performance of public enterprises is one of the main missions I set for myself when I took over the Ministry of Economy and Industry. We definitely have areas where we can improve processes and we want to use best practices to bring Bulgaria as close as possible to its strategic partners. This was announced by the Minister of Economy and Industry Bogdan Bogdanov, who opened the first meeting of the fact-finding mission in Bulgaria of the Corporate Governance Committee of the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD).

He assured that our country has taken the necessary changes at the level of legislative changes, implementing regulations of the specific laws so as to work in full compliance with the OECD regulations.
Minister Bogdanov expressed confidence that constructive dialogues will be held this week, there will be fruitful cooperation with the OECD to achieve the objective of the mission.
