Bulgaria possesses all the prerequisites, including a developed IT sector, high connectivity and a growing community of talented professionals. Our ambition is clear – Bulgaria should become a centre for digital innovation and a reliable partner in Europe.

This was stated by the Minister of Economy and Industry, Peter Dilov, during the opening of the fifth edition of the SEE ITS Summit 2025, organised by the Association for Innovation, Business Services and Technology (AIBEST).

The forum brought together leading representatives from business, government and academia to discuss how innovation drives economic growth. The event was also attended by Deputy Prime Minister Tomislav Donchev.

Minister Dilov emphasised that these factors give Bulgaria the opportunity to assume a leadership role in the region. “To achieve this, joint efforts are needed – consistent state policy, an active business sector and strong education,” he said.
