The Minister of Economy emphasized the opportunities for deepening partnership through the participation of companies in specialised exhibitions and trade missions, joint ventures in third markets in various economic sectors, the promotion of innovation and start-ups, as well as the implementation of joint cross-border projects.

Minister Dilov expressed gratitude for the active work and initiatives of the Bulgarian-Romanian Chamber of Commerce and its contribution to promoting and supporting opportunities for the development of cooperation between business representatives from both countries.

“I would like to assure you that you can count on the Ministry of Economy and Industry in carrying out the Chamber’s activities, as well as on support for expanding economic ties and promoting partnerships between companies from the two countries,” Dilov emphasized.

For his part, Mr. Gugushev stressed that the Bulgarian-Romanian Chamber of Commerce has a history of over 20 years and unites over 150 companies, represented in almost all sectors of the economy – logistics, tourism, construction, services and more. “About 70% of our members are Bulgarian companies that operate on the Romanian market,” he said.

According to him, a key priority for the Chamber is improving connectivity between the two countries – both by land and air. “The development of new and modern road links, as well as increasing direct flights between Bulgarian and Romanian cities, will facilitate business, tourism and inter-company cooperation. The Chamber actively supports efforts in this direction and is ready to assist with expertise and partnerships,” Gugushev added.
