Israel is an important economic partner for Bulgaria, and trade and investments between our two countries have been developing dynamically in recent years. This was stated by the Minister of Economy and Industry and Industry, Peter Dilov, who held a meeting with the Ambassador of Israel to Bulgaria, H.E. Mr. Yossi Levi Sfari.
The two discussed promoting partnerships between companies from both countries in sectors of mutual interest, such as high technology, innovation, energy, and agricultural technologies, which have the potential to ensure stable growth in the economic ties between Bulgaria and Israel.
Minister Dilov and the Israeli Ambassador also discussed specific Israeli projects in which Bulgarian companies can participate as suppliers, contractors, or subcontractors, for example, in the field of construction.
“We believe that holding the First Joint Commission for Economic Cooperation with Israel, accompanied by a bilateral business forum, would help to stimulate bilateral business contacts,” Minister Dilov noted.
During the meeting, the Minister of Economy and Industry emphasised that key priority areas for cooperation could be explored within the Commission.
Dilov pointed out that the Bulgarian government will implement policies to support investors and ensure a transparent and stable business environment. “We will work to maintain economic and financial stability in the country, to increase the competitiveness of the economy and to stimulate investment,” he added.
