At current prices in 2021, Bulgaria’s GDP will increase by more than BGN 18 billion compared to 2020. This was announced by the Minister of Economy and Industry Nikola Stojanov during the ceremony of the traditional annual awards of the Bulgarian Chamber of Commerce and Industry. The nominal volume of the GDP reached BGN 139 billion.
“Despite the difficult year 2021, with many crises and challenges, you managed not only to stay on the market, but also to develop your business,” the Minister of Economy addressed the business representatives. He pointed out that Bulgarian companies have proved that they can generate economic growth even in crisis conditions. “I believe that the reported successes at the end of 2022 will be even greater,” Minister Stojanov underscored.
Nikola Stojanov congratulated the organizers of the Bulgarian Chamber of Commerce and Industry for holding the 29 traditional awards for companies. “With this event, you encourage and promote the good examples and achievements of Bulgarian companies,” he said.
Minister Stojanov presented the award in the category Top 100 Companies Ranked by Change in Revenue, Maximum Profit and Maximum Profitability of Assets, Equity and Sales Revenue in 2021 (Comprehensive Indicator) to Ellatzite-Med AD.
The ceremony was attended by Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Labour and Social Policy Lazar Lazarov, Minister of e-Government Georgi Todorov, Minister of Foreign Affairs Nikolay Milkov, President of the Bulgarian Chamber of Commerce and Industry Tsvetan Simeonov and others.
