Minister Nikola Stojanov Inaugurated an Investment Worth BGN 12 million in Bojurishte Industrial Park

Minister of Economy and Industry Nikola Stojanov inaugurated a new building of the production base of Multivac Bulgaria Production EOOD in the Industrial Park Bojurishte. The investment is worth nearly BGN 12 million and is expected to create 100 new jobs.

‘Each country can boast of individual large investments. The real indicator of the state of the business environment is when global companies like yours have chosen Bulgaria and continue to develop in Bulgaria,’ Minister Stojanov said. He highlighted the fact that ‘many of the employees have been working here since the plant opened in 2018 and this shows the right approach in terms of staffing.’ ‘I am convinced that the results you have achieved over the past five years are the basis for the decision to make a new investment in the expansion of your production base in the Industrial Zone-Bozhurishte.’

The Minister of Economy also quoted the data of the German-Bulgarian Chamber of Industry and Commerce, according to which 100% of the German companies doing business in Bulgaria would invest here again if faced with this choice.

’39 investment projects in the field of automotive industry, high technology, warehousing and logistics, biotechnology are being implemented in the Industrial Zone Bojurishte, with companies from Bulgaria, Germany, Denmark, Greece, Turkey and Switzerland. So far the amount of investments in the zone exceeds BGN 600 million and the number of jobs exceeds 2 000′, Nikola Stojanov commented. In his words, ‘the proper management of industrial parks is an extremely successful tool for attracting investment and generating economic growth in entire regions.’

Minister Stojanov pointed out that the main priority for the Ministry of Economy and Industry is the improvement of the business environment in Bulgaria, because ‘without the presence of foreign businesses working and expanding here, this cannot be achieved.’ He recalled that there is already a direct link with foreign businesses in the country, with the aim of creating more effective and rapid communication between the business and the Minister of Economy, which will allow his direct engagement with the issues raised and said that ‘this is another mechanism to improve dialogue and coordination with companies operating in the country.’
