Hungarian investments in our country exceed EUR 2 billion
Economic relations with Hungary are developing positively and we have the potential to deepen bilateral cooperation. This was stated by the Minister of Economy and Industry, Dr. Petko Nikolov, who met with the Ambassador of Hungary in Bulgaria, H.E. Mr. Miklós Boros.
It also became clear at the meeting that Hungarian companies have invested over 2 billion euros in our country.
Ambassador Boros stressed that Bulgaria is a reliable partner and the Hungarian companies operating in Bulgaria are satisfied with the business environment. The first, which is related to the automotive sector, will be opened by the end of this month in Stara Zagora, while the second is for the production of solar batteries in the region of Northeast Bulgaria, Boros said.
Minister Nikolov and the Ambassador of Hungary also discussed the possibility of organizing in the shortest possible time a meeting of the bilateral Intergovernmental Commission for Economic Cooperation, which would give a new impetus to the trade — economic relations.
