The Trade and Economic Affairs Offices in Turkiye Won the 2024 Award of the Bulgarian Chamber of Commerce and Industry

The main goals of the economic advisors, posted to the Trade and Economic Affairs Offices (TEAO), continue to be directed towards actively supporting the activities of Bulgarian companies to expand their positions in international markets, to enter new markets, and to promote Bulgaria as an attractive investment and tourist destination. These goals have to be achieved in close cooperation with representatives of the Bulgarian business community and taking into account the priorities and needs of the business.

The Minister of Economy and Industry Dr. Petko Nikolov said this during the ceremony for awarding the annual prizes of the Bulgarian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (BCCI) to the Trade and Economic Affairs Offices at the Ministry of Economy and Industry.

Minister Nikolov underscored that active cooperation between competent institutions and business is necessary for building a good image of our country in terms of foreign economic relations. He pointed out that the joint work of TEAO with business organizations, such as BCCI, facilitates Bulgaria’s entry into innovative and high-tech markets and supply chains. Dr. Nikolov added that these awards are recognition not only for the successful work of the employees in TEAO but also show the importance and role of the activities of the ministry’s representatives abroad.
