A business forum with the participation of Bulgarian and Romanian companies is being prepared for opening by the Minister of Economy Emil Karanikolov and the Romanian Minister of Economy, Trade, Industry and the Business Environment, Radu Stefan Oprya. This became clear during a meeting between the minister of economy and H.E Mr. Ion Gulia, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary for Romania in Bulgaria.
Both joined around the opinion that there is a serious potential before the Economic and Trade Relations between Bulgaria and Romania. For the first five months of 2018, Bulgarian export towards Romania has increased with 11.5% and equals 924 million euro and the mutual trade is increasing with 6.8%, equaling 1 827 billion euro where the trade balance is positive for our country. “It is vital that we initiate more mutual events that can provide further opportunities for businesses from both countries and the conduct of such a forum will serve as a strong signal in this direction”, Minister Karanikolov underlined.
The business forum is expected to be held this autumn in Bulgaria. Companies with specific interest from both countries will be invited to share experience and find potential partners.
