Bulgarian Minister of Economy, Bojidar Loukarsky, met today with representatives of the Bulgarian Industrial Capital Association. The priorities in the development of Bulgarian economy were a matter of discussion at the event. The meeting was attended by Deputy Ministers of Economy Daniela Vezieva and Lyuben Petrov.
Mr Lukarski remarked the council on economic growth would resume its activity and would discuss and solve urgent issues with businesses. Representatives of the ministry, of employer’s organisations and the parliamentary economic policy committee will be part of the council.
Vasil Velev, Chairman of the Bulgarian Industrial Capital Association, pointed to the most urgent problems that need to be overcome so that the business environment in Bulgaria improves. According to him, the efforts should be aimed at maximal simplification of administrative procedures and services, transparency in assigning public procurements, an obligatory assessment of the impact of legislation in preparation,including the business environment, reducing the regulatory regimes to the minimum requirements set forth by the EU legislation, speeding-up of the development of an e-government, and others.
Minister Loukarski assured he and his team would keep regularly in touch with all employer’s organisations and would do everything within their authorities so that problems of Bulgarian producers and industrialists were solved quickly.
