Minister of Economy and Industry Nikola Stoyanov started meetings with employers’ organisations

Activating the work of trade attachés abroad, improving the conditions for doing business in the country, deepening the dialogue between employers and the state. These were the main topics at the meeting between the Minister of Economy and Industry Nikola Stoyanov and Tsvetan Simeonov, the President of the Bulgarian Chamber of Commerce and Industry.

The BCCI has highlighted the main problems that companies face when starting a business in Bulgaria. This was made clear during the meeting. “This should be the list of the most important priority tasks for the state in order to be competitive and attractive as an investment destination,” said Nikola Stoyanov. He also congratulated the Chamber for their efforts to promote Bulgarian exports and committed that the institution headed by him will cooperate with everything it can.

The President of the BCCI expressed satisfaction with the fact that the position was given to a person with whom they have worked over the years and who knows the institution. He committed the Chamber’s experts to participate in all initiatives that they can help with.

Together with the employers, a review of the by-laws will be made in order to reduce the administrative burden for businesses. “I would like to assure you that for me, problems are never big or small. My door is open to every businessman and I am ready to promptly discuss with employers any difficulty they encounter,” Minister Stoyanov also said.
