The Union includes a number of the most prominent scholars in the field of economics in Bulgaria
The Ministry of Economy and Industry launched a strategic partnership with the Union of Economists in Bulgaria. Regular meetings are to be held between the Union and the Ministry and the aim is to involve the scientific community in shaping the institution’s policies. “We can have sustainable results only when institutions, business and academia work in close cooperation,” Minister Stojanov stressed. He said that in recent months all opportunities have been consistently sought to engage scientists in the work of his ministry. “I hope that the strategic partnership we are starting today will be preserved and built upon in the future,” Nikola Stojanov added.
