The Ministry of Economy and Industry will continue to support Bulgarian enterprises with various measures. Thanks to them, companies will be able to introduce digital technologies in production processes, improve their resource efficiency, environmental performance and adopt the production and distribution of green products.
This was said by the Deputy Minister of Economy and Industry Nikolay Pavlov during a conference on “Best Practices and Company Welfare”, organized by the Bulgarian Chamber of Commerce and Industry, the Italian Chamber of Commerce and Confindustria Bulgaria.
The forum was also attended by the Ambassador of Italy H. E. Giuseppina Dzara, the President of the Italian Chamber of Commerce in Bulgaria Alessandro Gheretto, the President of Confindustria Bulgaria Roberto Santorelli and the Deputy Head of BCCI Krasamir Dachev.
During the conference, Pavlov recalled the public support directed to business to overcome the consequences of the COVID pandemic. “A number of measures have been taken, including the provision of grants for small and medium-sized enterprises and support through financial instruments,” Pavlov said.
He added that measures were also taken to curb inflation and expressed hope that all this would contribute to improving the welfare of both companies and citizens in Bulgaria.
