The Ministry of Economy and Industry will partner with the Council for Innovation, Digitalization and New Technologies at the Bulgarian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (BCCI). This became clear during the meeting of Deputy Minister Ivaylo Shotev with Radoslav Petkov — Chairman of the Management Board and attorney Kostadin Manev — Member of the Board of the Council for Innovation, Digitalization and New Technologies at BCCI.
Opportunities for cooperation with the business in order to improve the conditions for companies in the implementation of projects with European funds were discussed at the meeting.
The activity of the Bulgarian Accreditation Service in terms of technology transfer, certification of laboratories related to research and development, institutional development of the Patent Office and maintaining a stable national expert capacity in the field of patent examination and patent information studies, as well as active participation of the Republic of Bulgaria in the work of the specialized agencies of the European Union, such as EUIPO and its other bodies and structures, etc. were also discussed.
It was agreed to form working groups in the context of the associate membership of the Ministry of Economy and Industry to the Innovation Council and to hold regular working meetings.
