The Deputy Minister of Economy and Industry Dimitar Danchev congratulated the participants in the 56th International Session of the Model of the European Parliament youth programme. The meeting was held in the building of the National Assembly, and the event was hosted by the First English Language High School in Sofia.
During the session, students from EU member states and candidate countries took on the role of politicians and sought solutions to the economic and social problems facing Europe today.
“We highly value the voice of young people, because you are brave in your dreams, because you are not afraid to propose solutions to the problems facing humanity”, Deputy Minister Danchev said in his address to the delegates.
From his words, it also became clear that during the session the delegates adopted resolutions with innovative ideas for solving the economic and social problems that Europe is facing today. Deputy Minister Danchev emphasized that they will certainly attract the attention of both the European and national parliaments.
Dimitar Danchev wished the young delegates not to stop working for the better future of the EU and the countries they represent.
