Deputy Minister of Economy and Industry, Nevena Lazarova, welcomed students from the “Regional Development” programme at Sofia University “St. Kliment Ohridski” to the Ministry. During the visit, the students were introduced to the national policy and strategy for small and medium-sized enterprises, as well as to key initiatives of the Ministry.
“It is a pleasure to welcome you here at the Ministry of Economy and Industry. Your presence today is not merely a sign of interest in this institution, but a testament to the fact that the future of the Bulgarian economy lies in the hands of young, bright, and inquisitive people like you,” stated Deputy Minister Lazarova.
The students had the opportunity to ask questions and receive first-hand insight into the work of the institution and the mechanisms through which national strategies are implemented in real-world settings.
“I hope your visit proves inspiring and gives you a clearer understanding of the essence of small and medium-sized enterprises, the priority sectors, and the initiatives of the Ministry of Economy that shape the reality in which we live and work,” Lazarova added.
The students also had the chance to observe the work of the public administration in a real-life professional environment.
