Deputy Minister Nevena Lazarova Attends the Awards Ceremony of the “Green Technologies” Competition

The upcoming opening of Phase 1 of the “Lozen Tech Park” project, valued at BGN 25 million, was announced

Deputy Minister of Economy and Industry, Ms Nevena Lazarova, was among the official guests at the awards ceremony for the winners of the “Green Technologies” competition. The event focused on supporting sustainable development and promoting innovation in the environmental sector.

The winning students from the University of National and World Economy, recognised for their project “Carpool” – a carpooling mobile application – received a prize cheque from Mr Georgi Rachev, Managing Director of “Lindner Immobilien Management”.

During the ceremony, the launch of a national competition for innovative ideas in sustainable development was announced, along with the upcoming opening of Phase 1 of the “Lozen Tech Park” project, part of Germany’s “Lindner Group”.

According to the organisers, more than BGN 25 million will be invested during Phase 1 of the Lozen Tech Park, with the company planning to commence Phase 3 by the end of the year. The total investment in this phase is expected to exceed BGN 100 million. In total, the “Lindner Group’s” investment in Residential Park Lozen is projected to reach BGN 400 million.

The event attracted representatives of institutions, academia, and business partners, who reaffirmed their commitment to the development of innovations and scientific research with a focus on Bulgaria’s sustainable future.
