The Minister of Economy Teodor Sedlarski opened today the Ninth International Conference Bulaqua 2017 on the subject-matter “Blue Circular Economy”. The Vice Premier Malina Krumova and the Minister of Environment and Water – Irina Kostova also attended the opening.

The Minister of Economy Teodor Sedlarski participated in the Conference “European Digital Day”, which was held in Rome.

At the initiative of Minister Teodor Sedlarski a meeting was held between investors from National Company Industrial Zones EAD /NCIZ/ and CEZ Razpredelenie (Distribution) Bulgaria EAD. The Deputy Minister of Economy Lyubomir Ganchev and representatives of the Ministry of Energy also attended the meeting.

An agreement with the National Statistical Institute (NSI) was initiated by the Ministry of Economy aimed at the reduction of the administrative encumbrance for the business.

The Deputy Minister of Economy, Lachezar Borisov, the Vice President and Industrial Director for Bulgaria and France of Montupet, Michael Brison, the Managing Director of Montupet Bulgaria Frank Gate and the President of the French-Bulgarian Chamber of Commerce Stephane Delahaye attended the meeting.

The Minister of Economy Teodor Sedlarski visited the Siemens Centre for Innovations in Building Technology in Bulgaria during a working visit today. Minister Sedlarski and the management team discussed issues related to the modernization of industry and energy utilities, digitization and ways of making young people stay in the country.

Addressing the Việt Nam-Bulgaria Business Forum in Hà Nội, Bulgarian Minister of Economy Bojidar Loukarsky called on business communities of both countries to fully exploit co-operation opportunities that arise, especially when the Việt Nam-EU Free Trade Agreement takes effect.

A delegation of Bulgarian enterprises led by Bojidar Loukasky, Bulgarian minister of economy, visited Bình Dương on October 19. The delegation is studying investment and business opportunities in the province and also at the Việt Nam-Singapore Industrial Park (VSIP).
