This was agreed during a meeting of the Minister of Economy and Industry Nikola Stoyanov with the Chairman of the Supreme Bar Council Ivaylo Dermendzhiev, PhD.
“We are ambitious to propose a number of legislative changes within a short period of time to be submitted for consideration when the National Assembly is formed. Our country has long-delayed reforms that are vital for our economy,” Minister Stoyanov stressed. Mr. Dermendzhiev, PhD expressed the readiness of the Supreme Bar Council to assist the process as the proposals for changes in operational order are considered by specialists in the relevant fields. He stressed that based on the experience of the members of the Council, they can give very useful recommendations even before the legislative initiatives are publicly presented, in order to avoid possible weaknesses and to prepare much better legal acts that will give a long-term framework for the development of public relations.
