- The submission of applications for access to public information and their registration is carried out in the building of the Ministry at ul. 8 Slavyanskaya st..
- The examination of the application, the provision or refusal to provide information are in accordance with the Access to Public Information Act.
- Access to public information shall be granted on payment of the costs specified in accordance with DIRECTIVE No H-1 of 7 March 2022 on setting the norms for payment of the costs of providing public informationof the Minister of Finance.
- Possible ways of electronically requesting the service/electronically receiving the result of the service
The provision of access to public information is a Level 4 Primary Electronic Service – Provision of Level 3 Services for which electronic delivery and electronic payment is provided if fees are payable for the receipt of an electronic administrative service.
Possible ways to request the service electronically
A request for access to public information may also be submitted electronically:
- to the Ministry’s official e-mail address: e-docs@mi.government.bgor via the Access to Public Information Platform: https://pitay.government.bg/PDoiExt/. In these cases, a signature is not required in accordance with the requirements of Regulation (EU) No 910/2014 of the European Parliament and the Council of 23 July 2014 on electronic identification and certification services for electronic transactions in the internal market and repealing Directive 1999/93/EC (OJ L 257/73 of 28 August 2014) and the Electronic Document and Electronic Certification Services Act.
- through the Single Portal for Access to Electronic Administrative Services (SPAEAS) (https://egov.bg) and through the Secure Electronic Delivery System (SEDS) (https://edelivery.egov.bg). Before you start an electronic application, you need to have and install a Qualified Electronic Signature Certificate (QESC) or Qualified Electronic Signature (QES) on your computer.
Possible ways of receiving the result of the service electronically
- electronically to the applicant’s e-mail address.
- via the Access to Public Information Platform.
- as an electronic document in the applicant’s account in the Secure Electronic Delivery System.
